  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 Nights.

    • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 1 Year Experience, Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - Titrate.
    • Minimum 1 Year Experience, Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - Titrate.
    • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
    • Staffing Ratios: 1:3-5 Based on Acuity.
    • Unit Information: Post Cardiac Surgery, Post Vascular Surgery - NEEDS STRONG CARDIAC/Post-op heart experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 Nights.
      • Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, various rules apply based on FTE status and ability to make up the shift during the pay period.
      • Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other weekend per their contract, with possible consecutive weekends based on operational needs.
      • Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

        • Unit Information: Post Cardiac Surgery, Post Vascular Surgery - NEEDS STRONG CARDIAC/Post-op heart experience.
          • Additional Details
          • Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note.
